PLAN OF SALVATION

You need to stop whatever you are doing right now and take a moment to give an answer to this question: "Friend, if you were to die today, are you 100% certain that you would go to Heaven?" This question requires a "yes" or "no" answer - not a "maybe" or "I think so". If you can answer "yes" that you are 100% certain that you are saved and on your way to Heaven, Praise the Lord! If you can't answer "yes" to the question, please read on.

1. The Bible teaches that we are all sinners and not one person on Earth deserves to go to Heaven.

"For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23

2. The only way that we can pay for our sin under our own power is to spend eternity in Hell! This is not a popular teaching in our day & age but it is truth straight out of Scripture.

"For the wages of sin is death..." Romans 6:23a

"And death and Hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death." Revelation 20:14

3. There is nothing we can do under our own power to earn our way to Heaven.

"Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy he saved us." Titus 3:5

4. Jesus Christ came to this Earth to sacrifice Himself on the old rugged cross as payment for ALL of our sins.

"But God commendeth his love towards us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8

5. Not only did Jesus die, but He also rose again from the dead!

"For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures; and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures."

1 Corinthians 15: 3 & 4

6. Jesus offers the gift of salvation free to anyone who accepts it!

"...but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23b

7. The only thing anyone needs to do to accept this free gift is to believe in Jesus Christ, and to confess Him with their mouth.

"For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."

Romans 10:10

8. Remember the question that is asked at the top of this page: "Friend, if you were to die today, are you 100% certain that you would go to Heaven?" You can be 100% certain just by believing God's Promise and doing what is told in the following Scripture:

"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Romans 10:13

You can be 100% certain TODAY by praying this prayer:

"Lord Jesus, I know I'm a sinner and that you died and rose from the dead for me. Please forgive me from my sins and take me to Heaven when I die. Thank you! Amen."
